Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Splitcast. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. If you use Splitcast on behalf of a company, you agree on its behalf.

The service

Splitcast lets you upload short-form videos, create edited variations with AI-assisted copy, and publish them to Instagram professional accounts you connect through Instagram's official API. Features may change as we improve the product.

Your account

• You must be at least 18 and provide accurate information.
• You are responsible for activity in your workspaces, including teammates you invite.
• Keep access to your email and connected accounts secure, and tell us promptly about any unauthorized use.

Your content

You keep all rights to the videos and content you upload and create. You give us permission to store, process, edit and publish that content only as needed to provide the service to you. You confirm you have the rights to everything you upload and publish, including any music, footage or trademarks in it.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use Splitcast to:

• Break the law or the terms and policies of Instagram, Meta or any other connected platform.
• Publish spam, misleading claims, or content that infringes others' rights.
• Try to evade platform duplicate-content, spam or integrity systems.
• Access accounts you are not authorized to manage, or interfere with the service or other users.

We may suspend accounts that break these rules.

AI-generated content

Suggested hooks, captions and edits are generated automatically and may contain mistakes. Review them before publishing. You are responsible for what you publish.

Third-party platforms

Publishing depends on Instagram and other providers. We are not responsible for their availability, limits, decisions about your content or accounts, or changes to their APIs.

Plans and billing

Paid plans are billed in advance through Stripe and renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time; your plan stays active until the end of the paid period. Free trials convert to paid plans unless cancelled before the trial ends. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data.

Termination

You can stop using Splitcast and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end access if you breach these terms. On termination, we delete your data as described in the Privacy Policy.

Disclaimers and liability

Splitcast is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, including that posts will perform well or that the service will be uninterrupted. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.

Changes

We may update these terms. If changes are material, we will notify account owners by email before they apply.
